Welcome to Callio , an app created by Laplace Innovations Corp. , a Delaware corporation (“we,” “our,” or “us”). Your privacy is important to us, and this Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use the Callio app (the “App”).
By using the App, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the App.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only the information necessary to provide and improve our services. Here's what we collect:
a. User-Provided Information
- Your phone number or account login credentials (if applicable)
- Contact information, such as email (for support and account-related communication)
- Device information (e.g., mobile operating system, device type, and app version)
b. Call Metadata
- Time and duration of calls
- Whether real-time features (e.g., captions or teleprompter) were enabled
- The recipient's number (but not the content of the call)
c. No Call Recordings or Transcripts
- We do not record phone calls or store transcripts.
- Audio from the calls is only processed in real-time by our AI systems to provide features such as:
- Real-time captions of both speakers
- In-call teleprompter-style suggestions
- A post-call summary
- Audio is streamed to and processed by our AI models during the call session and is not stored or accessible after the call ends.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide core features of the App (e.g., real-time AI guidance and summaries)
- Troubleshoot technical issues
- Improve performance and functionality
- Communicate with you (e.g., for customer support, feature updates, legal notices)
3. How We Share Your Information
- We do not sell or rent your personal information.
- We only share information in the following limited circumstances:
- Service Providers: We may share metadata or technical data with trusted vendors that help us operate the App, such as telecommunications providers or cloud infrastructure partners.
- Legal Requirements: If required by law or subpoena, or if we believe it is necessary to protect our rights or the safety of others.
- Business Transfers: If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to standard confidentiality agreements.

The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
